We left Hanoi on the night sleeper train at 10 past 9 last night with Deb still feeling weak and looking pale but on the mend.
We shared our soft sleeper with a young couple from Argentina who were very nice but very quiet.
We were also on the train with a large group from Malaysia who were great fun and we had some pictures taken with them.
We were woken at 7 am and transported up the mountain to the Summit Peak Hotel. Right at the top of the mountain and although very sunny I think it might be cold later.
The sights sounds and colors were a complete contrast to Hanoi. Many different tribes are in the area.
We soon met our guide for 2 days Lind, complete with baby John who she carried on her back.
I wont bore you with too much writing as pictures tell a better story but the place is beautiful, The hotel is better and bigger and I got on well with the local kids by making them some of my model balloons. Foolproof with children the world over.
