Ready to move on. Back to Hanoi.

View from our hotel. Sunday 9th March 2014

We are all packed and chilling in our hotel room ready for another half day in Sapa before catching the night train back to Hanoi. After one more night in Hanoi we start the long haul south to Hue, (pronounced "way").
Central Vietnam offers more sunshine and beaches than the north and after two nights in Hue we will head to Hoi-an. We have heard so many good things about this place that we may rest up there for 5 or 6 days to rest up. It's all been a bit hectic up to now so a bit of R&R is called for.

With just over a week gone of our 5 week adventure I have to say I have loved it so far. There will always be problems for any traveller with language, currency and culture but you either except that things will be different or, go to Benidorm or Blackpool where you know what to expect.

Below are some pictures of local street kids who, despite having very little material wealth, are happy with their lot.
