Deb woke feeling sick this morning maybe following a late evening meal. I took a walk up to the Hoan Kiem lake. In a 15 minute walk I was offered everything from a dead fish, a massage and sexual favors as well as some bloke trying to glue my shoe and every bloke on a motor bike wanted to give me a tour.
Its safer in pairs but with Deb wanting to sleep it off I was alone for the morning.
It was while I was walking I was first approached by the Hanoi version of "The Cheeky girls". Two students who wanted to give me a tour of Hanoi. I lost them for a while but on my second outing of the day they were on our hotel doorstep waiting to pounce.

Eventually I fell into their trap and found myself on the back of a moped with a pink crash helmet weaving in and out of the manic traffic.
First stop was the war museum where many subdued Americans strolled around, heads bowed and probably still seething after thier embarrassing defeat at the hands of North Vietnam.

After a flying visit it was on to The Hanoi Hilton, The infamous prison in the centre of Vietnam that has many bad memories from former American troops.
Earlier in the day I had managed to take some wedding photos near the Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake. Talk about a busmans holiday.
